Resirene is a 100% Mexican company that is part of the Chemical Sector of Grupo KUO by DESC, one of the largest industrial corporations in Mexico.

KUO's chemical businesses are national leaders; several are also leaders within the international markets and export to over 40 countries.

The headquarters are in Mexico City and the two manufacturing facilities producing GPPS, HIPS and SPECIALTIES are located in Coatzacoalcos, Veracruz and in Sto. Toribio Xicohtzinco, Tlaxcala. These plants have a combined capacity of 150,000 tons per year. Also, at the Tlaxcala plant, we produce color concentrates, polymer compounds and polystyrene sheet. This is an additional capacity of 10,000 tons per year. The facilities operate continuously year round.

Resirene is a leader in the Mexican market in the production and commercialization of Styrenic resins. The product line is comprised of: GPPS, HIPS and SPECIALTIES such as High Performance PS (READ), flame retardant PS (RAF), transparent copolymers (CET), Color concentrates (MB), etc, offering all these products in pellet, film and sheet form. Our products are designed to meet the most stringent requirements in the following markets: Food containers for Consumer/Institutional markets, Electrical Appliances, Display and POP, Packaging, Construction and Furniture, Entertainment, Compounding and Distribution. 

In addition to supplying the Mexican market, and the Toll Manufacturing customers along the Mexican border, we export to the United States, Canada, Central and South America.In Resirene, labor relationships are positive, and characterized by cooperation for mutual benefit, and are focused on quality and continuous improvement in all the processes and systems.
